MDSkyBoard automatically updates when a rep has confirmed his or her attendance at an upcoming case. That information is viewable on the online "SkyBoard". As soon as a rep electronically confirms the case, its coverage status bar turns from red to green.
MDSkyBoard maintains an online directory of associated reps for each registered facility. As reps begin to work with an MDSkyBoard hospital, their accounts are added to the hospital’s rep directory. This directory is fully searchable and provides a rep profile picture, contact information, and a list of the products the rep supports. This directory is a significant improvement over the business card portfolios that normally serve as the directory of sales reps for a given OR. Instead of making dozens of calls trying to track down the right rep, you can search the MDSkyBoard directory by name, company, or product to find the right person as quick as possible.
MDSkyBoard is built on a cloud-based platform that can be managed from any device, so there is nothing to be installed or downloaded. The cloud-based platform allows changes to be made as they occur, keeping case details up to date for all parties involved. Sales reps can confirm their attendance at any time using a mobile device, which means that reps can be reached even during a demanding case support schedule.

Posting a case on MDSkyBoard does not require any identifying patient information. Cases are posted using date, time, surgeon, and procedure information, which is all a rep needs to confirm attendance. Thus, no patient data is entered or stored on the MDSkyBoard platform.
Within the MDSkyBoard software, every activity is tracked and time-stamped. This provides hospitals with an accountability measure as cases are posted. If something goes wrong, hospitals can review the case log to uncover any sources of miscommunication.
